Andrey of Key Detail (@KeyDetail) is more than a muralist. He is a world builder. Someone who constructs 3D landscapes on 2D surfaces and mixes fantasy with reality.
When SixSpeed rebranded in early January he was the obvious choice to vividly express who we could be.
Andrey is from Belarus and currently lives and works in New York City. We bolted two custom boards to our wall (so we could take the mural with us), and let Andrey enact his vision.
He freehand drew the entire thing and painted it over a couple weeks using a brush no wider than your pinky. Using paint shipped in Smart Water bottles. Insane.
