SixSpeed, a Minneapolis ad agency, is fabricating, placing, and maintaining Little Free Reviveries around Minneapolis in partnership with Southside Harm Reduction Services. These stations will be stocked with NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray and fentanyl test strips.
These stations are intended as a public good so people at risk, as well as friends and family, have access to potentially life-saving materials. They come in 3 colors: Green (pictured below), black, and white.

Highly visible elements through vinyl wrapping communicate that this is a harm reduction station. Little Free Reviveries are durable and easily maintained by our volunteers with no expectations from venues. Each station can hold just over 30 boxes of NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray with plenty of room for test strips and printed materials.
Opioid overdoses in Minnesota increased 43% from 2020 to 2021, and they continue to rise in 2023. Diseases of despair are growing at an alarming rate and disproportionately affect young adults and BIPOC communities. As a full-service advertising agency, we can’t fully fix the problem, but we can shine some light.
Little Free Reviveries are intended to force public attention on an issue too often swept under the rug. Hopefully, they save some lives. That’s why we are partnering with Southside Harm Reduction Services, to aid them in their mission to reduce opioid deaths in the Twin Cities area.
If you would like to join the cause as a venue, volunteer, or through a donation, please fill out the form below.
Every donation to the link below will directly fund NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray and fentanyl test strips needed to restock the Little Free Reviveries.
NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray is now an over-the-counter drug that consumers can pay for out of pocket. It has one use, it is legal to disperse in public areas, and it’s only used for those in need.
Our stations are designed to be placed out of the reach of children. It will not adversely affect a child (or adult) that has taken it. We are obviously not doctors so please read more here if you are interested (and we are not liable for adverse effects incurred in the event of improper use).
No, NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray is not a recreationally viable drug for misuse.
It's a second chance in a spray that we believe can provide positive, life-changing results. The opioid crisis is a systemic issue requiring multi-faceted support for healing our most vulnerable communities, and this is one of many ways to help.
Right now, we are looking to fund the first 3-5 builds ourselves. If there is significant interest from local businesses and institutions, we would evaluate the investment on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, each option is intended to be easy to install and easy to remove should you decide you don’t want it at your property anymore.
We are currently planning on volunteers from our agency to maintain and restock the stations once per week. (It would be better, and we would like to do more, but this is what is possible for us, for now).
No. We are planning on using bright paint (or more likely vinyl wrapping) on the outside of the box. The only words or marks on the stations will be “LittleFreeRevivery.com” and “NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray Inside”.
Diseases of despair increasingly affect everyone. Across our staff we have a lot of personal interest for this particular issue that has affected friends, family, and more. There’s a lot more we have heart for and will try to tackle in the future, but for now we are starting here.
If you or someone you know is experiencing an overdose, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
In the event of an overdose, always dial 911. Common signs are greyish-blue lips, slow breathing, gurgling sounds, and slow response times.
Take spray out of the box.
Peel back the tab to open NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray.
Hold the NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray with your thumb on the bottom of the plunger and your first and middle fingers on either side of the nozzle.
Tilt the person's head back and provide support under the neck with your hand.
Gently insert the tip of the nozzle into one nostril, until your fingers on either side of the nozzle are against the bottom of the person's nose.
Press the plunger firmly to give the dose of NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray. Remove the NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray from the nostril after giving the dose.
Wait and watch the person closely.
If the person does not respond in 2-mins, repeat the steps and give the second dose of NARCAN® naloxone nasal spray.
