Associate Account Manager
SixSpeed is looking for an Associate Account Manager to join its growing team in Minneapolis.
 
As an Associate Account Manager, you’ll be involved with learning our clients’ business to help develop and grow relationships that add value to the client and our agency. You’ll be responsible for collaborating internally alongside an Account Manager to create great work that’s well executed to ensure high client satisfaction and account growth. 
 
RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
 
Client Management 
  • Helps drive client business and relationships as a supporting role 
  • Assists and/or runs smaller initiatives with clients in support of the team 
 
Account Management 
  • Assists with project leadership and coordination responsibilities for assigned initiatives to ensure flawless execution
  • Assists with annual account planning and financials for assigned accounts 
  • Drives clear communication between the internal team and client
  • Assists in organizing client needs and feedback
 
Process Management 
  • Assists in project kick offs, account status, and debrief meetings with team
  • Works with PM to help execute creative and production processes 
  • Assists with managing projects and process in an organized manner
  • Supports team in client feedback and communication, routing information, assisting in gathering research, and gathering inputs for brief development and presentations
 
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to adjust to constant changing priorities
  • Positive attitude 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, PR, or Marketing, preferred 
  • 1-2 years agency experience

2 parts rad internal experiences

This opportunity is truly unique. It’s integrated across two of our core teams which will give you two powerful experiences to submerge yourself in and push the boundaries of a traditional internship experience. The Project Management team is the ultimate wrangler of all SixSpeed departments. They ensure deliverables, budgets and deadlines are met, no matter what, and touch every type of project that comes through the door. The Experiential Content team produces and executes the brand vision through personal connection. They are the ninjas who help shape experiential and content projects and then fulfill those plans with true action. 

As an intern learning both roles, you’ll get to be the peanut butter and the jelly. From idea to execution, you’ll learn the entire life cycle of creative brand and digital projects, photoshoots, and events. You’ll become a planning and budgeting rockstar, and will get the opportunity to apply those skills toward a variety of project types and sizes. Vendor research and outreach will become a necessary tool that will aid in the success of your projects here (and hopefully beyond). We move fast, so get ready to hit the ground running!
