Production Designer

As a Production Designer, you’ll be working collaboratively with designers, project managers, and our digital team to format content, organize assets, construct layouts, and preflight files that meet specifications required for the production or distribution of final assets. You’ll help implement design vision ensuring files are produced accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has 4-8 years of production design experience, an in-depth knowledge of print, a love of order, and eye for the details. This person must view their role as an asset to all agency teams approaching each task, big or small, with a solution and growth mindset helping the team to develop stronger processes and create their best work.

THE TASK AT HAND

  • Support teams in completing updates and revisions to existing files and creating production-ready artwork for design, digital, and other projects
  • Translate creative concepts and direction into production-ready files
  • Troubleshooting problems and delivering solutions to ensure deliverables are of quality and effectively produced
  • Maintain process-related tools and systems for planning, scheduling and trafficking projects and managing digital assets
  • Build and review files adhering to production requirements of the agency and vendors
  • Develop and maintain organizational systems for creative production (i.e. naming conventions, collecting, processing, filing, archiving protocols)
  • The organization, distribution of images and assets to our clients via digital asset management platform
  • Proofing and press-checking designs, maintaining the integrity and quality of the work
  • Taking accountability and ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Constantly collaborating and sharing knowledge with team members
  • Training and managing contract freelancers

WHO ARE YOU

  • 4-8 years as a production designer or production artist in advertising or marketing
  • A critical thinker, detail-oriented, passionate, motivated, ambitious and resourceful
  • Obsessed with organization, detail oriented, open-minded, and capable of delivering tangible results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat)
  • Knowledge of file formats and understanding of the optimal format to use in particular applications
  • Knowledge of industry-standard printing prepress practices, materials and treatments
  • Strong understanding of typography, color reproduction, image manipulation and resizing
  • Ability and eagerness to stay on top of current trends, industry knowledge, and develop new technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Willing and open to work on creative in the hunting/fishing space, including gear, firearms and ammunition

Copywriter

As a Copywriter, you’ll be tasked with taking on big, sticky challenges—tackling them with pen, paper and an open mind. You’ll not only have ideas that leap from the page, but the skill and discipline to craft them into copy that inspires action. You’ll speak to audiences through well-crafted ideas, with words and images as your closest allies. The ideal candidate has 3-8 years of creative agency experience, a proven ability to generate original ideas and the persistence to will them into the world.

  • Generate high-quality targeted ideas and copy in a fast-paced, team-centric environment
  • Digest and understand technical product information and translate into compelling brand messages
  • Craft deep core insights that inspire and come to life as both short and long copy
  • Concept ideas and executions to deliver the most effective and creative outcome possible

  • Deliver copy to the team in a timely and effective manner, meeting all deadlines

  • Passionate about powersports and adventure
  • Owner of a strong portfolio, demonstrating an ability to craft and build creative campaigns and solves with insight
  • A critical thinker, detail-oriented, passionate, motivated, ambitious and resourceful professional
  • Organized, open-minded, and capable of delivering tangible results in a fast-paced and creative environment
  • Has eyes and ears for spotting creative opportunity—both large and small
  • Ability to concept and execute across all mediums
  • Willing and open to the hunting/fishing space, including gear, guns, and ammo
