How do you get Minnesotans to spend precious summer time at an indoor amusement park when so many other entertainment options exist? If you’re Nickelodeon Universe, you bring the park to them. To boost off-peak summertime attendance the theme park partnered with SixSpeed to bring the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the kid-topia to life in the streets, neighborhoods and parks of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. The Nickelodeon Universe On the Go truck was born. Working closely with the Nick U team, SixSpeed provided strategy campaign, planning and creative, social outreach, custom fabrication and ambassador training. With social media flexibility built in around where the truck would head next, the story played out in a truly organic and fun way–just like summer should.
